[SOLVED] Fix ASUS G75VW Windows 8.1 Audio Driver

The fix that will make most people be like... Wow, really!

     So Windows 8.1 was released yesterday October, 18 2013.  Many people have been without the subwoofer mono bass that the G75VW comes with when they upgraded their OS to Windows 8.1. Well it took some time but I finally figured out a fix, that is actually really simple.  This brings the VIA HD Driver and HD VDeck back to your G75VW on Windows 8.1!  So here's the solution that was agonizing to find.

     Here's all you have to do.  Google ASUS drivers for your model. For this example.

Google search: ASUS G75VW drivers.  You will see a link that says ASUS support or something like that with download drivers.  As we all know the Windows 8 audio drivers didn't work for, Windows 8.1 which is kind of ridiculous.  So click the which operating system you have dropdown box and click Windows 7.    Download the Windows7 audio driver that matches your operating systems bit.  Use the global download option to download straight to your computer after choosing a save destination.

Linux Mint Activity

Linux Mint Activity well be about whats hot on Linux particularly Linux Mint. I will be making a YouTube video on how to create a virtual machine of Linux Mint or any other Operating System as well.  I personally have a fixed hard drive space of 300 gbs and 4 gbs of ram out of my 8 gigabytes of ram and 1630 gbs.  Along with 3d acceleration from my NVidia GeForce 660 M.  Virtual machines are useful for people who don't want their entire Operating System to be Linux based or want to be able to play games. Linux can not play much of the applications or games that Windows or even mac can.  Linux is for the geeks.

Note: I am in the process of ordering a Micro SD to SD Card adapter for I have a Micro HDSD card with no SD card adapter or SD Card in general for my camera.  All of my videos well be edited with Sony Movie Studios Platinum 12 AKA Sony Vegas.

Apple iPhone 5C

Above, are Apple's new iPhone 5C's these are the medium ranged of the new iPhone 5's. You can buy an iPhone 5C with 16 GB's for $99, and the 32 GB version for $199.

The iPhone 5C comes in "5" (duh) different colors. White, Pink, Yellow, Blue, a  Green.  

According to Apple the iPhone 5C is, "for the colorful."  

Some Specs

The iPhone 5C contains Apple's A6 chip .  Along with the A6 chip is the same 8 mega pixel iSight camera. The iPhone now has LTE network. The Apple iPhone 5C is only measured 4 inches diagonally, then again that's what you get for buying a lower ranged iPhone 5. With the iPhone 5C's iSight camera you get 1080 P HD video recording at 30 frames per second, and 3x zoom.  Same ol audio formats; AAC, HE-ACC, MP3, MP3 VBR, AAX and AAX+ and AIFF, as well as AIFF  and WAV.

Design

Apple says the iPhone 5C's design is a single piece polycarbonate object. You can watch the iPhone 5C video which shows how they made it here!   

In my opinion the iPhone 5C is "girly". Why well it says for the colorful, yet take a look at the image above.

Android 4.4 KitKat

Android 4.4 KitKat "The Hunger You Feel, just means you cant wait to get your hands on it"

This is Google HQ's new statue showing off Android KitKat.

Google announced Android 4.4 KitKat, not the long waited Key Lime Pie. Key Lime Pie is supposively Android 5.0, which will bring major Android improvements. This was announced at Google HQ. For Google is, celebrating the fact that they've sold 1 billion smartphones and tablets. Android and Hershey's are partnering to sell KitKat bars at your local store, with a picture of Andy, Androids logo on it. You have a chance to win Google store credit or the new Nexus 7.

Website layout complete

Finished updating the website layout.  Blogger makes it difficult to start a website from scratch to code.  So I got into customizing the layout and adding CSS. After cleaning up the design of the website, what do you think.  After cleaning up the design of the website, I edited and added services to my website.  I will continue to make changes to the services.   I plan to perform remote services. Such as where I can view and control your computer to fix problems. Through a program called Teamviewer.

I used to doodle on my homework assignments and notes.

Release Date for BF4 Beta Announced on Orgin - Screen Shot Included

If you have pre-ordered any version of BF4 you will receive beta access. Or if you have bought Medal Of Honor Warfighter you will also receive beta access. EA just released the date for when Beta starts.  Above is proof in Orgin.  Or go to My Games in Orgin and hover over BF4 beta and it says! September 30th, 2013 @ exactly 8:08 PM! That means we can experience BF4 starting then.  You can even pre load AKA install BF4 on your computer on September 27th, 2013  8:00 PM.  So that means you can play the exact minute the servers open.  According to EA Beta participants will be able to play Parcel Storm!  And the only mode available for beta will be Conquest.    Excited for Beta! Windows 8.1 AKA Windows Blue

     Windows 8 is the latest version of the Microsoft's OS.  Recently Microsoft has announced the newest OS, Windows 8 AKA Windows Blue.  At least that's the nickname for the OS.  Windows 8.1 comes with many new anticipated features. One of the most important features being added to Windows 8.1 is the option to be able to turn on your PC and go straight to the desktop mode instead of to the metro style UI.  For those of us that prefer the old desktop. Or have a non-touchscreen PC. Your desktop background can now be shown on the background for the metro style UI.  There are many new features these are  only a couple of great features, that Windows 8.1 has to offer.

     Windows 8.1 well be an update included to all who own Windows 8.  Windows 8.1 will be installed on manufactured machines instead of the original Windows 8 OS.  As Microsoft always does, they have released an consumer preview.  You can download this preview and try Windows 8.1 out for yourself! But BE WARNED, NOTE: Trying and installing the preview well wipe all of your data including drivers.  So please find your drivers online to make sure they have the proper ones for Windows 8. Use the Windows 8 drivers if they do not have Windows 8.1 drivers.  If you wait and be patient for the public official release you well not have to wipe your PC data.  When switching to the final release of Windows 8.1 you well have to wipe your data AGAIN!

A GoPro Montage

First off to make a GoPro makeshift bike holder or bike stand 

YOU WELL NEED

1. Duct Tape or Electrical Tape
2. GoPro 
3. GoPro accessory the waterproof case

STEPS 

1. Make sure your bike has one of the things that sticks out in the front and has a reflector on it.
2. Make sure the bike is up on its kickstand or keep it standing up on a tree or something.
3. Now hold the tape in one hand.
4. Then hold the GoPro in the case in one hand.
5. Place your hand with the GoPro on the reflector part facing the front of the bike.  
6. Put the back end of the GoPro on the reflector.
7. Wrap the GoPro around the reflector and GoPro until you have a sturdy stand and the GoPro is facing the direction you want it to be.

PRO's

• It saves money
• You don't have to buy a GoPro accessory, unless you are a sporty person, and need to take the GoPro off easy.

CON's

• It requires a decent amount of tape.
• The GoPro is now kind of stuck on there and tricky to get off. 
• TIP: Use your scissors and muscles!
• You'll need to buy tape more often

JetLev is a pretty new company that has released a way you can fly above or under water, as well as dive like a dolphin.  Even go up to 30 - 40 feet above or below water!  Below well be the links to the website and some cool videos!  You can buy a JetLev for around $68.000!  They have a power board option and a jet pack!  JetLev devices require a certain license and training provided on the website before you can buy and use them anywhere.  JetLev is Approved by the US coast guard.

Are You a Twitter Fanatic and want to minimize the amount of Time you spend on Twitter!?  Or be able to schedule future Tweets?

HootSuite is a great online web service that helps you, minimize the time you spend on social media.  For say, you manage a Twitter association such as Fact@Fact.  This is a great Twitter to follow if you view your Twitter profile every now and then to view and follow funny shit!  Fact@Fact also tweets interesting facts, that you may not have known or wished not too.  Once you start following a Twitter association such as Fact@Fact you start to wonder how they have the time to tweet that much!?  Well the thing is they are probably using a service such as HootSuite.  HootSuite is not a spam unless the user makes it. You give HootSuite your Twitter username and password and it's a Twitter app.  What HootSuite does is allow you to schedule Tweets! So so you have a couple of free hours and nothing to do or you love tweet and want to manage your time.  You can schedule Tweets to tweet automatically to your Twitter at a certain time and day.  HootSuite is not only just for Twitter but for other social media platforms as well. You can use HootSuite for FREE! Here's what the plans look like and registration only takes 60 seconds! Unless you're blind!  No offense to anyone. Google+1 this!

 I was not posting for the past week because I was on vacation.  I also ordered Sony Movie Studio Platinum Suite 12 for video editing with Amazon Prime free 30 day trial. Haha.  Sony Movie Studio Platinum Suite 12 is on sale from its original price $129 on Amazon for $68!  So if you want a good movie editing software now is your chance!  I finally got one!  Or at least it's on the way!  Then I will start releasing more of The Final Smashdown Series because Windows Movie Maker doesn't seem to work.  Sony Movie Studio Platinum 12 is actually the renamed Sony Vegas 11 so now you know you are getting a good deal.

GoPro or GoHome

Hello everyone, I finally got a new camera and it's the GoPro Hero 3 you might be asking how can you make videos with a GoPro.  Well the kind I want to make for YouTube besides cool sporty ones.  Well first off don't throw away the box!  If you notice it doesn't come with a tri-pod all you need is 3 rubber bands and the part of the box. To be specific the part of the box on the top that holds the camera.  The flat part connected to the box where the camera is attached. Take it off as seen in the picture and rubber band it to the tri-pod so you can use it for other things later on and ot her than just GoPro's!  Anyways for the videos the GoPro camera has an app, coincidentally called the GoPro App which you can get on iTunes or the Play Store.  Here is a photo and a link to download the app!  With the app you can connect to your cameras wi-fi.  Wait there is a password! Well its simply, goprohero!  Okay now that you are connected you can see your what the camera sees by clicking the eye but it only works on pictures not while your recording.  This allows you to adjust the position correctly.  So you can make the perfect video.  When you get a GoPro you can then also get their free movie editing software from the link I well provide to their site.  Sorry for the pictures fuzziness.

W3Schools another way or two to learn coding!

W3Schools is a fun site I found that is like many of the other websites that teach you how to code. W3Schools on the other hand has tutorials for the people who are more knowledgeable with HTML and CSS and others already. Also, if you are not, they can teach you from the beginning. W3Schools can provide certificates in "obviously" you have to pay for to get them in those subjects. W3School also provides free tips and tricks or code examples. Say you forget something like the HTML image tag. You can then Google HTML Image tag and it well show up from W3Schools in the top of the list from Google's search.
